Vibra-TITE 548 is a medium viscosity, quick curing, high strength anaerobic retaining compound. Vibra-TITE 548 is used for tight-clearance, and slip-fit metal applications. The product performs on aluminum, steel, plated, stainless steel, and special alloy parts. Vibra-TITE 548 exhibits good temperature and solvent resistant. Vibra-TITE 548 can be used to create an air-tight seal on cylindrical assemblies. This product cures rapidly on all metal surfaces. It locks shaft and hubs together for gears, bearing, bushings, bonds pins, adaptors, plugs. 24 hours at 72 degree F Full Cure Time. Shear Strength: >1800 psi for Cold rolled steel 15 min cure, >3260 psi for Cold rolled steel 24 hour cure, >1000 psi for Aluminum. Static shear strength was measured on cylindrical parts with a 0.002” diametrical clearance. Product should be stored in a cool and dry location at temperatures between -10 degree C to 30 degree C. Optimal storage is 22 +/- 4 degree C. Shelf life is 18 months from date of manufacture when stored at 22 +/- 4 degree C. 0.007 inches Maximum gap fill. 3500 Plus PSI Shear strength. 1.09 Specific gravity.
